When Making an Argument ………

This is the political season and so many are trying to argue their sides and points of view.  Make sure you know your facts when making an argument for or against.  So many who do not know their facts are going off of what their political party is telling them, they are using the political spin that is really getting old.  Political spin gets old really fast and once they start spinning the only way to stop the spin is with a solid argument.

Hard facts in arguments stop the argument very quickly and they usually go off running, but before they run they will call you names, attack you personally, make statements about what you do for a living if you are on social media, and the list goes on.  The problem is that they can’t support their argument so they yell in social media by being bullies and abusive in their language.  It is really amazing to watch.

Hold your ground, keep the debater on point with the original statement, know your facts, and then watch the weak debater run.  And they run fast.

I love this quote – “Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument.”
