No matter where I am in my home Skippy my dog is right beside me. When I am at the office he waits by the window for me to come home, to come up the steps, unlock the door and have him run to me with a big dog smile because he is happy I am home. No matter what kind of a day I have had, or the problems that have hit me from every side of life, Skippy knows and he gives me even more love and Loyalty.
I have noticed people are not as loyal. Very few people will stand by you in times of trouble. In fact some show their true colors and act the opposite of loyal and love. I have even seen the mean side of people during tough times, those are the mean dogs of life and should be put down and never to be thought of again.
Very few remain loyal, those that do keep them close and return the loyalty. In my travel to Hong Kong I received a book of Buddha in English and Chinese. I found a passage that said a true friend advises you, gives you stern advise, is loyal and honest to you, feeds you when you are hungry, provides you with shelter when you need it. However, it is hard to find a friend like that so YOU have to be a friend like that. A lesson from Buddha that is in line with do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
You give loyalty, you’ll get it back. You give love, you’ll get it back. If you are not loyal – Karma is a bitch. Everyone be a Skippy.
